This is the official UAE edition, the range sold on local shelves and the one most smokers here already recognise. Thirteen sticks, with Arabic and English on every pack.

It is the smallest of the four editions we carry, and that is deliberate rather than a shortfall. Philip Morris built this lineup around the profiles that sell in this market: familiar tobacco blends, two proper menthols, two fruit menthols, and three Dimensions sticks that go somewhere none of the imported ranges do.

Why buy the UAE edition over an imported one

Worth being straight about this, because the imported editions usually cost less.

Packaging you can read. Arabic and English rather than Kazakh, Japanese or Indonesian. Some buyers simply prefer that, and it removes any doubt about what you are holding.

Local retail familiarity. If you have bought Terea in a UAE shop before, this is the version you smoked. Flavour names line up with what you already know.

Dimensions Ammil. It exists in this range and nowhere else we stock. If you want it, this is the only route.

What it does not buy you. The blends themselves largely match their imported counterparts. Amber here and Amber from Kazakhstan follow the same recipe direction, and the price gap between them comes from tobacco excise being set per market, not from anything different inside the pack. If price matters more than packaging, the imported editions are the sensible choice and we will say so.

The tobacco line, lightest to strongest

Six sticks, no cooling in any of them, in the order you would actually experience them.

  1. Silver — the lightest here. Smooth, subtle, nothing pushed forward. Built for lights smokers.
  2. Yellow — mild tobacco with a light citrus lift. Zest rather than juice.
  3. Sienna — rounded and toasted with woody nuances and a light tea note. Dry and clean on the finish.
  4. Amber — toasted with dried fruit and nut notes. The closest thing to a full-flavour cigarette, and the biggest seller in the range.
  5. Bronze — mellow and aromatic with cocoa and dried fruit. The warmest of the six.
  6. Teak — clear woody notes with a light spice at the back. The driest and fullest.

Most people switching from cigarettes land on Amber and stay there. Silver is the place to start if you smoked lights.

The two menthols

Only two, and the difference between them is worth understanding before you order a carton.

  • Turquoise — crisp, clean, classic cooling with a subtle aromatic note. Consistent from first puff to last.
  • Blue — deeper cooling with peppermint and a creamy note behind it. More weight, longer finish, no fruit anywhere.

Turquoise is the everyday menthol. Blue is where you go when it stops feeling like enough.

Fruit with cooling

  • Purple Wave Menthol — dark forest fruit with light menthol. Philip Morris classifies this as a low-menthol stick.
  • Summer Breeze — ripe peach with mint cooling and a faint floral edge. Sweeter and brighter than the berry option.

Two things worth knowing here. Purple Wave in this edition cools noticeably less than the same name in other markets, so if you have tried it abroad and found it strong, this version will feel gentler. And Summer Breeze matches the peach and menthol profile sold as Summer Wave in the Kazakhstan range. Same idea, different name.

The three Dimensions sticks

Dimensions is where Terea moves past tobacco and menthol into layered aromatic blends. Most markets get one or two of these. The UAE range carries three, which is the strongest argument for buying local.

  • Dimensions Ammil — delicate spices and herbal notes with a fresh sensation and a creamy undertone. Exclusive to this range.
  • Dimensions Apricity — fruit and woody aromas over tobacco with a creamy sensation. The richest of the three.
  • Dimensions Yugen — pear, lavender and jasmine tea over a light base. The floral one.

These sit at a higher price than the standard range and they divide opinion. Anyone expecting a straightforward tobacco or menthol stick tends to find them too complex. Buy a single pack before committing to a carton.

Which one should you start with

  • Full-flavour reds — Amber, then Teak or Bronze if you want more.
  • Lights — Silver, then Yellow.
  • Menthols — Turquoise first, Blue if you want it colder.
  • Fruit and cooling — Summer Breeze for peach, Purple Wave for berry.
  • Something different — any of the Dimensions three, starting with Apricity as the most approachable.
  • Dubai heat — Turquoise and Summer Breeze hold up better outdoors than the heavier tobacco sticks.

How the UAE edition compares to the imported ranges

Smaller and more conventional by design. Thirteen sticks against sixteen from Kazakhstan, eighteen from Japan and twenty-one from Indonesia.

What it lacks is capsules. There are no Pearl sticks in this range at all, where Kazakhstan carries five. What it has instead is the deepest Dimensions selection and the only route to Ammil.

Kazakhstan is the broadest range and the capsule specialist. Japan runs finer with a graded tobacco ladder and the widest menthol selection. Indonesia is the outlier, built on clove that no other market produces. Armenia is worth a look for value.

Devices that run Terea UAE

Terea needs an induction device. It will not heat in a blade device, because there is no slot for a blade to enter.

These work: IQOS ILUMA, IQOS ILUMA i and Lambda. Message us before ordering if you are unsure what you own.

Frequently asked questions

How many Terea UAE flavours are there?

Thirteen in the range we stock: six tobacco sticks, two menthols, two fruit menthols and three Dimensions blends.

What is the difference between UAE Terea and imported Terea?

Packaging and price, mostly. The UAE edition carries Arabic and English text and is the official local retail range. Imported editions cost less because tobacco excise is set per market, not because anything inside the pack differs.

Which UAE flavour is closest to a cigarette?

Amber. It is the rounded, toasted option most people settle on when switching from full-flavour cigarettes, with Teak and Bronze as the fuller alternatives.

Are there any capsule sticks in the UAE range?

No. There are no Pearl capsules in this edition. The Kazakhstan range carries five if that is what you want.

What is Dimensions Ammil?

A stick built on delicate spices and herbal notes with a fresh sensation underneath. It exists in the UAE range and nowhere else we stock, and it divides opinion, so try a single pack first.

Is Purple Wave here the same as in other markets?

The flavour direction matches, but this version is classified as low menthol and cools noticeably less. If you tried Purple Wave abroad and found it strong, expect gentler here.

Which is the strongest menthol?

Blue. Turquoise is the crisp classic and the bigger seller, but Blue has more weight and a longer finish.

Will Terea UAE work in my device?

Only in an induction device: IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA i or Lambda. Blade devices will not heat a Terea stick.

How fast is delivery in Dubai?

Within one hour across the city, same day to the rest of the UAE, with cash on delivery available.
