Minago is the coldest of the clove sticks. Indonesian clove meets a genuinely cold menthol, with green fruit and mint aromas layered over the top rather than mixed through.
Mint and menthol together is what pushes the temperature up. Most Edition sticks use cooling as a supporting element, whereas here it leads and the clove works underneath it.
The green fruit reads fresher than Emerald’s fermented version, closer to something just picked. It keeps the stick clean rather than tart, which suits the harder cooling.
The one to reach for if you want clove but refuse to give up strong menthol. Emerald is the tarter, gentler alternative, and Mulint swaps the green direction for berry.
